A Summer Concert of Organ Music and Song in Bury Parish Church
Bury Choral Society is pleased to present this extra concert to round off the 2008-2009 season. John Edwards was Musical Director of the Society for 39 Years, retiring in May 2007. We appreciate his kindness in offering his services once again in this evening’s recital of organ music, with some singing, and acknowledge the amount of time and energy devoted to its preparation. Whilst there are about 70 singers in the Society proper, tonight’s concert features smaller forces and a less formal programme.
